Got my knee looked at in Shanghai for $180 — here's the whole process

Booked through the medical desk on a Tuesday, saw a specialist Thursday morning. Interpreter met me in the lobby. Total including imaging was under $200 and the doctor spent 40 minutes with me, which has never happened at home.

Wholesale market day trip — what I'd do differently

Started at 6am which was right. Wrong: I didn't bring enough cash and the card machines were down. The proxy desk shipped 40kg to Chicago for about $95.
